  29. I've been trying to use it during the day from work. You get so spoiled by 
  30. a dedicated T-1 connection. :-)  I noticed very slow performance on your 
  31. web site and was unable to download the files I wanted through there or by 
  32. using a dedicated FTP program.  After reading your message, I went back to 
  33. the FTP program and set the timeout period (how long the program waits for 
  34. a response) to two minutes.  That was the problem.  For some reason, your 
  35. site is VERY slow in responding to a login.  It took over a minute.  Once I 
  36. was logged in, the response was reasonably good.  Thanks for your message.

  41. P.S.  I hope you're monitoring your site closely.  A web/FTP site that is 
  42. slow or out of date is as bad for a company's public relations as shipping 
  43. your products without bothering to assemble them first.  The company looks 
  44. stupid, uncaring, or both.  If management balks at paying the costs of a 
  45. reasonable bandwidth system, perhaps you could lease space on a large 
  46. system that does have high bandwidth.  I can't believe that I'm saying 
  47. this, but I think it would be preferable to have NO internet site rather 
  48. than a BAD site.
